>  *K&H Precision Products delivers high-quality custom manufacturing by keeping every phase of production, including Design, Pattern Shop, Foundry, Machining, Quality Control, and Shipping - under one roof. New projects start with a detailed kickoff meeting to align on technical specifications, surface finishes, and inspection criteria, preventing costly surprises. Dedicated project leads keep clients informed with regular progress updates and photos, while strong employee retention ensures key manufacturing knowledge is preserved across repeat orders. This connected team structure guarantees that every finished component strictly aligns with customer expectations from initial concept to final delivery.*

### **Manufacturing Works Better When the People Making Your Part Know Your Part**

A manufacturing project may begin with a drawing, a CAD file and a set of specifications.

But successful projects depend on people.

At K&H Precision Products, one of the advantages of keeping so much of the manufacturing process under one roof is that a customer's part doesn't simply move from machine to machine. It moves through a team that understands what came before, what needs to happen next and, ultimately, what the customer needs the finished component to do.

That collaboration starts early.

## **Starting With a Conversation**

For new projects, K&H typically begins with a kickoff meeting before moving fully into production.

The purpose is straightforward: make sure everyone understands the requirements and identify anything that could affect the project before work gets too far down the road.

Details such as surface finish requirements, inspection expectations or other specifications can have a significant impact on how a part is manufactured. Discussing them upfront gives K&H and the customer an opportunity to get aligned before tooling and production begin.

It's part of a larger philosophy that runs throughout the process:

Avoid surprises whenever possible.

## **Staying Connected as the Part Moves**

Once a project is underway, the customer isn't expected to simply hand it off and wonder what's happening.

For many new projects, Aaron Frohm oversees the process and communicates directly with customers as their parts progress, including providing updates and photos along the way.

Behind the scenes, the project is also moving through a connected group of people.

Design considers what the Pattern Shop and Foundry will need. The Foundry makes the castings and prepares them for cleanup. Cleanup prepares it for machining when required. Quality Control works alongside production. And Shipping provides one final set of eyes before the order leaves K&H.

Each department has a different responsibility, but they are working toward the same result.

## **There's Value in Knowing Your Part**

That team continuity becomes especially valuable when customers reorder.

For many legacy and repeat parts, Vice President Frank Warner and his team are closely involved. Their familiarity with parts K&H has manufactured previously allows them to help troubleshoot issues because they already understand the history behind them.

And that points to another important advantage: employee retention.

Manufacturing knowledge doesn't live only in drawings and process sheets. It also lives in the experience of the people who have designed, cast, machined, inspected and produced a part before.

When those people stay with the organization, that knowledge stays with the customer's project.

For repeat customers, that can mean you're not starting from zero every time you place another order.

## **Why It Matters to the Customer**

Customers need more than manufacturing capacity. They need confidence that the people producing their components understand what they're trying to accomplish.

That's why K&H's team approach matters.

From the first kickoff meeting through design, casting, machining, inspection and shipment, the goal is to keep people, information and the customer's requirements connected.

Because behind every good part should be a team that knows how it got there, and knows it meets your strict quality standards.
